Self discovery is a huge part of social development – you have to begin establishing a sense of who you are in order to start working out what you want from interactions with other people.
Although your wants and needs and your sense of self might change as you grow, taking the time to explore and understand yourself is an important thing to do.
And if you don’t know where to start in this process? Take notice of what makes you feel good in your day to day activities and surroundings. Who is important to you in your life? Then take notice of what may not feel so good.
Keeping a journal of your reflections is handy when you’re discovering more about yourself (whether you write, draw or video/audio record yourself) and gives you a place to start building up a sense of what you want in your life.
With My Tribe can help you with self discovery as you travel down the path of learning more about yourself and the ways of socialising that might be valuable to you…..
….. even if your idea of socialising is simply being with your very best friend – your dog…..
